Google +1 Button icon Google has launched the +1 button for websites in June, 2011. As we already know that Google +1 (pronounced "plus one") is a recommendation button similar to Facebook Like button, making it easier to recommend content across the web.

Enthuasiasm of its users to use Google +1 button on their website/blog was very high. Even Google released a report that in July, the +1 button crossed 2 billion daily views. And today the +1 button appears on more than a million sites, with over 4 billion daily views! Absolutely they are extremely excited about this momentum.

To get more satisfactions of their users, they're launching two more features that make +1 buttons more useful for users and publishers alike: Sharing and +Snippets.

Google+ Spam Invite Getting into an invitation only system on a new service or social site is sometimes considered as a "status symbol". And folks want to proudly declare "I have a Google Plus account, I am so special". It's human nature, I think.

Google seems understand very well that things and used it well too when launched Google+ service with an invitation only. People are going crazy for a Google plus invite in early weeks of its release.

Unfortunately this situations is exploited by some peoples who are not responsible. Mostly done by spammers and some professionals to make their business out of it. They are creating a fake email template which exactly resembles the invitation email of Google Plus and they are sending the fake invitation email to random users from an email list they bought.

This is really a big move toward mainstream adoption today, integrating web-based games within the brand new social network. Games also have been expected since the earlier launch of Google+ by millions of users.

Unlike Facebook which shows Games updates all in "Top News" and "Most Recent" pages, games related updates won't appear on Google+ streams. But rather would show up separately on Games Page. Vic Gundotra, senior VP of engineering of Google reported on Google's Official Blog. So your main homepage stream will only show usual conversations, not games notification.

"Games in Google Plus are there when you want them and gone when you don't," Google says. "If you're not interested in games, it's easy to ignore them."

Google +1 Google +1 (pronounced "plus one") is a recommendation button similar to Facebook Like button. Or like Google said, the +1 button is shorthand for "this is pretty cool" or "you should check this out".

Similarity with Facebook Like button is both of them show friends that recommended your post. But while Facebook Like only shows them under the button in your blog post, Google +1 also shows them under your post in Google SERP (search engine results pages).

So if your friend love your content then click +1 on your post, then the +1 buttons will shows on Google search to let people know their friend recommend it.

Google Plus Believed Can Beat Facebook With all of the assets it has, Google+ is believed to conquer the popularity of Facebook. This belief is exhaled by the developers who seemed impatient to be creative on the networking site made by Google.

Although Facebook has been inhabited by 750 million users and Google+ is still far behind (recently in the range of 20 million users), but because guarded by the internet giant, Google+ is believed can bring the sharp competition.

A total of 1621 respondents surveyed by Appcelerator and IDC and pelted with questions, "Is Google can beat Facebook?" And as much as two thirds of them answered "Yes".

This information starts from the technology blog, Slashgear, which reported the findings of screenshot in the help pages of Google. On that page seems Google+ includes a line of code for a feature called 'Games Stream'.

"This feature is designed as a provider of shared updates from the games," wrote Slashgear in his report.

Sources such as The New York Times have declared it Google's biggest attempt to rival the social network Facebook, which had over 750 million users in 2011.
